How Scoring Works in the Skills Awareness Courses
Tracking your progress is important. It helps you see how you’re doing, how you’re improving, and makes learning more enjoyable.
Progress and Performance Counters (“Donuts”)
Skills Awareness uses progress counters, called “donuts”, to show how far you’ve come in your course.
There are two types of donuts:
- Progress Donuts: These are displayed in the footer of the courses page and show how much of the course or module you’ve completed. The filled in part of the circle and the percentage inside tell you your progress.
- Performance Donuts: These are displayed as you progress through the course. They show how well you’re doing. Green means correct answers, red means incorrect. The percentage inside shows your current score.
Star Ratings
To pass and get your certificate, you need a minimum star rating:
- 3 stars: 70% or more
- 4 stars: 80% or more
- 5 stars: 90% or more
You need at least 3 stars to pass. Sometimes, your organisation may set a higher goal, like 4 stars or more.
Course Completion
When you finish the Skills Awareness course, you can retry any scenarios you didn’t pass the first time to improve your score.
Once you reach 100%, you’ve fully completed the course and can’t retry any more scenarios. Congratulations!
